Comparison – Cutting Edge Online MLM Marketing Strategies Or Wandering Around In Shopping Malls?

August 23rd, 2010

Learning online MLM marketing strategies is an absolute MUST if you really are serious and truly committed to making your MLM business succeed.

Now, obviously because you are reading this article you understand that utilizing the internet is important. If you’re reading this article, you must understand that so are thousands of other people! The internet is an extremely powerful tool. There are 1.8 Billion people at your fingertips!

In my experience in this industry, you don’t need 1.8 billion people in your business to be successful. You need a very small fraction of that.

Understand I’m coming from a place of experience. When I started implementing online MLM marketing strategies into my business, I began to see MASSIVE results. I started to generate tons of leads and customers online who were already LOOKING for a business. I began sponsoring like crazy. And I even made money from the people who said no to the opportunity I was offering.

Do you realize that this can happen to you? This can be a reality for you if you have the right mentoring and training.

Let’s compare that to the old way of doing things – the way I used to go about building my home business. I would be sure that no matter where I was, just out and about, that I would talk to people about my opportunity, try to get referrals, use the “3-foot Rule” (which I despised, by the way), ask for people to try my products, et cetera. It was a little uncomfortable.

What 98% of people in this industry do to build their businesses is unprofessional and frankly, not fun. Who wants to constantly chase after people and recruit in Wal-Mart to try to build their business? But there IS a way that you can stop hunting people down and attract people to your opportunity that you can take advantage of today.

The point is that online MLM marketing strategies are a much more INTELLIGENT way to market your business in the 21st century.

Online MLM Marketing Strategies Wake Up Call For All Network Marketers

August 18th, 2010

If you think that using online MLM marketing strategies is not absolutely necessary for building your business, then stop reading right now.

Now obviously since you are still reading this, you are serious about using the internet as a large part of building your MLM business.

Now, truth be told, you MUST be using online MLM tactics if you want to succeed in your business. Why? It is simple. The internet allows you to build relationships with thousands of people all at the same time. These are folks you would NEVER have met otherwise!

This is powerful! Using the internet, you can target people based on just about everything with LASER focus – down to the zip code they live in!

When you learn the online strategies that the top earners in network marketing are using to build their businesses, you will laugh at the rest of the people still trapped in the prehistoric times of old school prospecting and recruiting.

Here are some very funny BUT real comparisons that you need to understand. You will get my point right away.

1. Wandering around in shopping malls and Wal-marts VS. Hanging out on social media like Facebook and targeting only people who are right for your MLM business.

2. Placing classified ads in the newspaper where you have NO IDEA who read your ad, how many people saw it, etc. VS. PPC (Pay Per Click) Marketing where you can track EVERYTHING and only target the exact kind of people you want to sponsor into your primary business.

3. Pitching your opportunity and company products and brochures VS. Branding and Positioning yourself with your own Blog.

4. Making your “names list” full of friends and family that you have a good idea are probably not interested in your business VS. Generating an unlimited number of leads for a names list of people who are INTERESTED in what you have to offer.

Like I said, I’m sure you get the picture.

Now I’m not necessarily saying that you should not use offline methods to build your business. But I am saying that if you are not using online methods then you are missing out on a huge pool of customers and prospects. There is simply no comparison.

What it all comes down to is combining online MLM marketing strategies with offline tactics. This is what the top earners do and what anyone who will be the most successful will be doing from this point on in this industry.

How Has The Evolution Of Marketing Changed In Its Affect On Business Development?

May 5th, 2010

Marketing, by definition, is simply a process that businesses use to help determine which of their products or services customers are interested in. It also is used to determine a strategy for sales and communications and business development. Marketing integrates all of these functions to create value and build stronger customer relationships. By understanding this definition it enables us to determine why marketing is important to business development.

To be able to identify, satisfy and keep your customers, you have set up your marketing process in an efficient manner. This is a very important factor. It would be helpful to examine the progression of orientation of companies from a marketing standpoint over time. Customer based marketing is crucial to this process. If you are going to properly maintain your business then organizing your marketing methods is a significant aspect. This is slightly different from past years when the focus of business management was production centered.

In its infancy, marketing had a production based focus. This meant that companies would specialize in the production of a given product or service. This meant that they were going to base profit on the use of economies of scale. This approach is most useful when there is a high demand for a product or service. In order to continue to be effective it is also important that there is a high probability that customer demand or desire for the product or service will not change. This approach was most popular until the 1950’s.

The focus changed some in the 1960’s and went from production to product orientation. Companies were far more focused on the quality of their product or service. They tended to search for innovations to enhance the quality of their service or product. The thought was the higher the quality standards were then people would naturally buy and use your product or service. Of course continuity of those high standards even increased demand for that product or service.

This leads us to the next step in the evolution of the orientation of companies. The sales approach was used in both the 1950s and 60s. Selling became the way for a company to develop its business model. In this approach, the focus in not on determining what the customer desires. Instead the focus is on promoting an existing product or service. The goal is to achieve the highest sales possible. This is usually most effective in situations where a company has stores of product that is no longer moving at an acceptable rate. This is also used in situations similar to the production orientation. That is when there is high demand for a product and little chance of a change in customer desire for the product.

The next part of the process is to use research and development to perfect products to meet a customer’s desires. Firms will use research to help reveal customer desires. The marketing approach is the most commonly used and most effective orientation in today’s environment. This is when a company establishes its marketing plans on delivering the products or services around consumer tastes or desires. The final step is to use promotions to make sure that the consumer is aware the product is available. The effectiveness of this approach is why it is the most used in marketing.

The Best Small Business Performance and Training System For Small Business That Wishes To Maximize Productivity

March 16th, 2010

I have been reading quite a lot about time management and how to increase productivity when your running a small, medium or even home based business.

I personally felt like our company had problems achieving the goals we set last year, and I have felt we haven’t moved forward like we should for a while. So I decided to try to do something about our productivity by making some adjustments in our professional education and development.

I started viewing a site specific to this task, which contains a lot of very good and interesting productivity videos. One of these videos took me to a program called EDGE, Expert Directed Guidance Education and inspired me to start a new experiment, one of the Professional Development videos talks about how to wake up and instantly achieve something everyday. The basic of this video series is, that if you start your day off by doing your most important goal for that day, you will get a self-esteem boost and possibly get more done that day. Thinking that this would be a good mindset for our employees as well as my self.

I am not sure how this exactly will work on me and our employees. First of all, I have to admit that I am not a wide awake kind of morning person who jumps straight out of the bed – I need my coffee. If I try to exercise in the morning, I always feel ill and do not get as much out of the trip as if I do later in the day. If I get caught by some interesting work, I can stay up half the night and work where I suddenly notice that it is 5 am in the morning. So the thought of starting my day with actually doing the most important task for the day sounds a bit challenging.. None the less, I decided to give it a go.

I only just started on this experiment a few weeks ago, but the conclusion so far is that it actually works. So far I let my self make a cup of coffee and take my son to school, before I start working – but I try to avoid surfing the net, reading email, watching news or doing anything else that isn’t what I set as my morning goal. I simply just make my coffee and have some family time before the school day starts, and then go directly into my office – close down my mail program, and only keep the windows open related to the work I’m doing right at that moment.

It really works to let you focus on that achievement of the day, and no matter how much of the other stuff you planned to do that day, you know you got the most important thing done, because you did it before you did everything else.

As for the experiment, I will continue on doing this and hopefully our staff will too; every night I decide what the first thing I will get done tomorrow will be. That way we don’t have to spend the rest of the evening thinking about that thing, because I know it will be dealt with as the first thing tomorrow.

That and a lot of other interesting posts on EDGE and in the mastermind calls they sponsor have really inspired me, and I will try to follow more and more advice from sites and vblogs like EDGE. I hope this maybe has inspired you too.

Getting Your Affiliate Marketing Application Approved

December 8th, 2009

Sometimes working with affiliate partners is a frustrating experience. There are so many ways merchant partners drop the ball and unintentionally sabotage a potentially profitable relationship. Dan Kennedy jokingly refers to this type of thing as the “Sales Prevention Department.”

Even good affiliates with a quality website, decent or above average traffic, experience bewilderment when they are rejected by relevant affiliate partners.

Unfortunately merchant partners fail to see the potential in developing affiliate relationships. To understand this, first let me explain the nature of the affiliate relationships.

First, an advertiser – also known as the “merchant” decides they want to have affiliates promote their products. Because running an affiliate program is a full-time job, the advertiser will then look for an affiliate network to operate their affiliate program.

For example, let’s assume that an advertiser decided to hire one of the big companies with a well-known brand to handle their affiliate program. The large network then takes care of all the day-to-day managing activities of the program, such as tracking sales, issuing commission checks, etc.

In return for this work the affiliate network takes a cut of all the sales generated by its affiliates. For example, if you are getting paid $10 for a sale, the network may be taking $3.

It is difficult to cut out the ‘middle man.’ Affiliate networks are a necessary evil. You will discover that other than issuing your commission check, big networks often do nothing to deserve the high fees they charge their clients.

They provide zero support and often fail to recognize when good affiliates apply to join a program. In any event, here are some suggestions on what to do if your application is denied:

1. Consider exploring an in house relationship. You can usually find some contact information right on the company’s website. Explain to them that you have an affiliate site, how you plan on promoting their products, etc.

2. Consider joining other affiliate networks outside of the large well-known networks. There are hundreds of smaller, and possibly more intimate networks. In Chapter 4 of The Online Entrepreneur – available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon – you will find a large list of other networks. Often these networks have the same program or comparable programs.

3. Contact the merchant via your network account. You can usually contact the advertiser via the network. Just look for the merchant’s contact information in your affiliate account. This is probably a last resort type of thing because it may take up to a week for them to route your email onto the advertiser – if they bother to do so at all.

Remember, don’t give up! Don’t get too caught up on a specific program. There are likely similar offers available who are ready, willing, and eager to have you as their affiliate!

Marketing by Email: The Perfect Solution

November 7th, 2009

Today’s rough economy presents a dilemma for many small businesses. The cash flow that businesses once depended on is unavailable. The daily struggle has become for the purpose of mere survival, and the idea of growth seems far-fetched and immaterial.

We would like to discuss a possible approach to help advertising in a cost-efficient manner, but before we discuss new methods of advertising, let us analyze those that already exist.

Methods such as direct mail and newsletters have proven to be inefficient and costly. After totaling costs of stationary, publication, and postage, many companies have found that much had been spent on their advertising with little to show for return. In fact, many methods of direct mail fail to provide businesses with knowledge of whether their advertising was the cause of sales or not.

Furthermore, direct mailers that send out bulk mailings are forced to assume that their targets are potentially profitable without any real of evidence of that being so. Clearly, many advertisements are wasted.

In concordance, a balance between business development and limiting expenses for survival must be achieved. The appropriate course of action for such purposes is email advertising.

The major reasons for this are clear as costs such as stationary and postage are non-existent, and when it comes to bulk mailings, this makes a big difference. Furthermore, by using bulk email software, a business is able to directly track the source of returns in order to more precisely target its clients. When a consumer responds to any portion of the email, this software automatically delivers more mailings to the consumer to support a client-business relationship and further growth.

It is, however, important to note that some businesses prefer to remain with direct mail as opposed to email campaigns due to the overwhelming amount of spam that is sent to consumers. This junk mail creates a very negative view in the eye of the consumer concerning all who use mass email campaigns as well. Even email providers possess spam filters that filter out legitimate commercial emails and do not distinguish between them and unsolicited ones.

In summation, bulk email campaigns provide the ability to disperse email advertisements to a wide variety of consumers and to detail precisely the success return rate. This allows for a cost-efficient method of business development.

Can South Africans Become The Leaders In Entrepreneurship?

October 18th, 2009

Sheldon Adelson, American Billionaire businessman and CEO of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, grew up as son of taxi driver in a rough part of Boston. He worked at a young age selling newspapers on street corners and owned his first business at a young 12 years of age. Once rated as one of the best Finance Ministers in the world and often called the best finance minister that this country has ever had, Minister Trevor Manuel said that unlocking entrepreneurship and improving the skills in the economy would lead to more people starting their own businesses and contributing to higher economic growth. Minister Manuel also said that entrepreneurship levels and skills in South Africa were low. This statement was made in 2005.

Li Ka-shing, the richest person from Asian descent in the world left school at the age of 15, after his father died, to look after his family. He worked 16 hours a day in a plastics trading company. He started his first company in 1950 at the age of 22 and grew it to a leading real estate investment company in Hong Kong. As you dig into the beginnings of so many successful entrepreneurs it becomes clear that the educational level and the amount of money they had simply didn’t play a role in the successes that these super entrepreneurs had.

With an official unemployment rate of 23,5% in 2005 South Africa has the 13th highest unemployment rate in the world. This means that, just as Minister Manuel stated, South Africa has a great need for entrepreneurs. Entinology teaches us that Internet entrepreneurship offers low start-up costs internationally. This in itself offers South Africans a great benefit as South Africans often do not have the cash to finance entrepreneurship. But with as little as R200 ($25) a month you can start an internet business and run it from home with very little overheads. With open source you do not even need to know much about website design and development.

Internet entrepreneurship offers global reach of more than a billion internet users. It offers several marketing strategies that can be applied at very little or no costs and accurate stats that can assist in tweaking and improving of entrepreneurial skills. The Internet is a prize that still hasn’t exploded in a South Africa that’s living the legacy of the past. The Internet offers the ideal way to start a business for the thousands of South Africans that have been retrenched due to the world recession, black empowerment, the effect of the National Credit Act and companies fallen due to corruption and bad debt.

The Internet offers the one thing any entrepreneur strives for, low risk and high return. It offers the ideal way for the thousands of South Africans that are employed, to start a business whilst having the stability of a monthly income. What is stopping South Africans to reach for the internet entrepreneurship dream? Compared to countries like the USA and UK, South Africa offers very little Internet entrepreneurship education!

South Africa needs a new culture of entrepreneurs on the Internet that can be created through proper training and skills programs. These skills programs needs to be developed so that a new generation of entrepreneurial youth can lead the way for the country. The Internet is a logical choice as its growth hasn’t slowed since its creation and the costs of running an online business has declined considerably. Standing by the laws of Entinology, the Internet is the one resource where no matter who you are, you can compete with the big corporations. The old way of educating entrepreneurs in business and finance management enhances existing skills sets of entrepreneurs but lacks the real systems that make entrepreneurs successful. As the laws of Entinology explain, the real science of entrepreneurship is much more complex and requires a much broader skills set. Entinology specify systems that have been proven to have made all the difference in all the successful entrepreneurs in the world. Regardless of their backgrounds and education, they were successful because of the unique way they think and do things.

South Africans have a choice. Do they wish to stand with 77% of battling employees or beg with 23% of unemployed people in the country, or do they want to be wealthy leaders of the entrepreneurial world. It simply takes action and making the decision to make this dream a reality. The choice is in your hands, simply learn the systems that you require, the Internet is filled with these skills and knowledge, a true gold mine of information. Just take the decision and stick to the systems.
